NOTE 1:  Amazing treasure about Maradona's career! A full official ticket to Diego Maradona's first FIFA World Cup, encapsulated and graded FULL by PSA (63693715). The late Argentine soccer icon Diego Maradona made his first appearance in World Cup play during the opening game of the 1982 World Cup against Belgium. Catalan fans packed the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona, Spain, on June 13, 1982, to see Maradona, who had recently been transferred from the Boca Juniors in Argentina to Barcelona for a record fee of $7.6 million. Presented is a ticket stub from that debut game. The defending champions Argentina would lose a tight match to the Belgians, 1-0. Maradona would appear in a total of 91 games for the Argentinian National Team, scoring 34 goals and ultimately leading the Argentinians to glory by winning the World Cup in 1986.
