PROVENANCE: Amazing direct provenance from former chilean legend & southamerican midfielder Juan Covarrubias. So auctioned jersey comes from his personal collection. For first time the Covarrubias heritage able to be auctioned from all the southamerican fans. Covarrubias is still the current top scorer in  Cobreloa with 151 goals, playing 12 seasons at the club. 

NOTE 1: Covarrubias played 28 games scoring 11 goals during the season 1991 finishing in 6th place in the tournamnet. This auctioned jersey worn on pitch against Universidad de Chile on December 12th, 1991 and Juan Covarrubias scored the winning goal.

NOTE 2: This jersey was kept by the player as one of his personal favorites jerseys designs inspired by the model used by Netherland in Euro 1988 title , and is considered by the most soccer fans one of  the most beautiful designs in the history of football.
