PROVENANCE: The garment was obtained primarily from one of the best NBA collectors in the US through his networks with NBA officials and contacts with officials of some NBA franchises. Later, it was acquired by a current well-known consignor, who kindly placed it in the current auction.

NOTE 1: UNIQUE PIECE OF HISTORY This auctioned 3/4 compression tight were crafted by Nike and worn exclusively for Kobe during a game in his last seasons in NBA. Never released by Nike .
DESIGNED ONLY FOR KOBE. Auctioned garment includes distinctive label "CUSTOM ATHLETE-CUST " and the label  "ENGINEERED TO THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF KOBE BRYANT". 

These labels show us the degree of importance that Kobe had in the sport and in the lives of many. A dominant man in the sport, he made the whole world fall in love with him and with discipline, his mentality reached the highest levels that team sport can show us. Since his unfortunate death in 2020, his worn garment  are increasingly scarce, making it almost a privilege to have some of them. "Black Mamba" is considered one of the best basketball players of all time. He won five NBA championships with the Lakers and two Olympic gold medals with the American team, he was an All-Star eighteen times, an All-NBA fifteen times (eleven of them in the first quintet), twelve times a member of the best defensive quintets , MVP of the Season in 2008, MVP of the Finals in 2009 and 2010 and top scorer in the league in 2006 and 2007. In 2020 he was posthumously included in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
