THE STORY BEHIND THE JERSEY. Among the memories that former Cobreloa and national team defender, Héctor Puebla, keeps in his home in La Ligua, one of them occupies a special place: Maradona's shirt, which he obtained after marking the then world football star, in the match between the Chilean and Argentine national teams for the 1989 Copa América. In a previous match between the two teams in 1985, Puebla had asked the Argentine '10' for his shirt, but he had refused the possibility of exchanging them saying ""The albiceleste is not for swapping" .  In the match valid for the continental tournament 4 years later , Puebla entered the field with a clear order from coach Orlando Aravena: "follow Maradona." "Don Orlando told me that if he went to the bathroom, I would follow him to the bathroom," During the match, Maradona touched the ball on a few occasions, due to the strong marking of Puebla, who only committed three fouls on him during the entire match, even Diego himself saying after the match it was one of the best marks on he had ever had in his life, so everything was happening as if to repeat the same story from 4 years ago however 15 minutes before the end of the match, Maradona and Puebla had a little conversation......The rest is part of the history and now coul be yours!

According to Puebla, "in those years Diego was very muscular and I remember that the jersey was a bit tight on him, however his speed and technique on the pitch were unique. I remember that he shouted to his teammates throughout the match: give me the ball at my feet!, at my feet!  Diego was magical, and I thank God that the greatest has decided to keep a piece of his story with me."
