PROVENANCE: .Jersey was gifted by Salvador Cabañas to his former teammate in Audax italiano (Chile) Claudio Figueroa and came from his personal collection. Acquired some time later by the current consignor who is a recognized Chilean collector of match worn jersey.

NOTE 1:  Amazing design with fabric sewn front and back number, same design worn for adult team in World Cup France 1998 ( they worn felt numbers) , but with back name. This auctioned jersey probably was worn by Cabañas for youth or southamerican U-20 tournaments where he worn the number #15 on back. Cabañas was of the most prolific strikers in Latin America being crowned in 2007 the best america player "El País" uruguayan renowned newspaper.
