PROVENANCE: The shirt came from a businessman related to professional football (owner of a professional club and current consignator) with strong connections with players and managers at the South American level. The story told by the consignator tells us that the shirt was delivered in the dressing rooms of the national stadium, during half-time of the Chile-Argentina match on March 24, 2016 for World Cup Qualifiers (Matchday 5), by the same Argentine kit manager, with whom the consignor had a long-standing relationship on sports matters and with whom he had arranged to meet at the stadium. As related by consignator the game where this auctioned jersey was worn is unknown.

IMPRESSIVE PROVENANCE STORY. Consignator says "Hours before the match, already at the stadium, I went down to the stadium tunnel to greet people I knew. The kit manager recognized me, we greeted each other and he told me to stay close to the place, that he was busy at that moment, but that he had a gift for me and would give it to me at half-time or at the end of the match. At the end of the first half, I went back down to the tunnel near the locker room, and while the Argentine players were on their way to enter the field again, I look at him, he comes up to me and throws this shirt at me, shouting, 'This is for your children. Take care of it! With the nervousness of the moment, I barely picked it up and looked at it and couldn't believe it was number 10. The shirt clearly had marks of use on the field that remain to this day. This piece represents a lot to me, it is the most important piece  that I have been given and that I have in my collection, so both me and my family have taken care of it for more than 6 years, even displaying it in my office where I had it inside a frame to take care of it. I feel that today this jewell should remain in other hands that continue to preserve part of the sporting career of the best player in history. '

NOTE 1:UNWASHED: Shirt with many clear signs of having been worn on the field by Leo during  a unknown match of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and kept by the kit manager ( Is widely known that Leo worn 2 jersey durirng each match).  After a photographic review by Dream Auctions, it is confirmed that at least the jersey does not correspond to the match against Chile, the date on which it was delivered, then surely worn in previous match played with this jersey design. NOTE 2: Jersey with mud marks  on bottom front  and center & bottom back. Also grass mark on the bottom back right side.

NOTE 3: Jersey with clear folds under both armits due player performance on pitch.

NOTE 4: Jersey kept framed since was delivered to consignator but for purposes of being able to auction it was removed from the brand, without any details in sight.
