NOTE 2: During this cup argentina lost for first time against USA. In 32 minutes the United States was already leading 2 - 0 with goals from Frank Klopas and Alexi Lalas. Passarella put in Simeone and Ortega for the second period, although it did not help because at 58 minutes Eric Wynalda finished the game. With the result, the Americans were in first place in the group by goal difference.
