NOTE 1: KNOWN OLYMPIC GAME WORN JERSEY FOR FIRST TIEM!!. As remembered and related by Tapia the specific match is one of these two alternatives: Game vs. Morocco on September 14th or Game vs. Spain on September 17th during the first and second group stage match played in Melbourne Cricket Ground. I both matches Navia scored goals, 1 against Marooco, and 2 againsts Spain.
NOTE 2: In Australia, "El Choro" Navia formed a lethal attacking duo with Iván Zamorano: both scored ten goals, four of which were scored by Navia, being key in obtaining the historic bronze medal for La Roja.
