Lot description

Team: ARGENTINA NATIONAL TEAM #12
Season: 1989
Competition: BRASIL AMERICA CUP
Player: DIEGO MARADONA
Lot Type: MATCH WORN EXCLUSIVE SHORT

COA: “Dream Auctions” available upon request .

PROVENANCE: AMAZING! Short comes in first source from former 1986 Argentina national kitman Rubén "Tito" Benros (RIP 2017). Short comes from his son.  Short was gifted by Clausen himself to Tito Benros during 1989 America Cup and after the death of Tito, inherited by his son.

NOTE 1: Benros was the prop man of that wonderful team that was champion in Mexico 86 and runner-up in Italy 90. And he was also part of Basile's staff in the United States 94. So strong relationship between players  and him during the glorious years.

NOTE 2: EXCLUSIVE AND RARE SHORT DESIGN ONLY WORN IN AMERICA CUP . Rare design worn on pitch by Nestor Clausen during the 1989 Brasil America Cup, design with 3 "Le Coq Sportif" logo  embroidered on the left side. This design was also worn in a Friendly Game vs Italy on December 1989, but Clausen did not play that time.

NOTE 3: Front number with marks due the age and storaged.

  • Made in: France- Le Coq Sportif trademark. Only for players version
  • Front number in felt material on the right side.
  • 3 "Le Coq Sportif" logo embroidered on the left side.
