PROVENANCE: The jersey was given as a gift from Germán "Mono" Burgos to his teammate and friend and former Velez Sarsfield player José "Turu" Flores , who sold this jersey time ago among others to a match worn collector who is the current owner and consignator.

NOTE 1: Nice jersey worn by Burgos during the World Cup Qualifiers, specifically against Ecuador on August 15th, 2001 when the Albiceleste made a great qualifiers in South America and reached the final stage in 2002 World Cup, but after being sent off in first group stage.
