NOTE 1: VERY HARD TO FIND DESIGN WITH "BLUE" BANK BOSTON SPONSOR WORN IN 1 MATCH. Special and unique jersey design with fabric "BLUE" applique along the front and name new sponsor BANK BOSTON painted on and worn, according to press reports from that time, in only 1 match against Santiago Morning on March 13th, 2000 for Chile Cup in Group Stage. The 2000 model retained the Reebok 98/99 design but changed its sponsor from Parmalat to Bank Boston in 2000. Therefore, the club decided to manually replace the front sponsor by adding a piece of fabric and sewing it onto the shirt. UNIQUE
NOTE 2: AMAZING STORY. Andrés Romero left the Cruzados at the end 1999-early 2000 becoming the highest-scoring defender in history with 31 goals in national tournaments. After retiring, he immediately began working in the club's youth teams.
So as declared by Chemo del Solar this auctioned piece was unused spare that left in kitroom for Romero and was given by "Moto" as a gift to him in April 2000 when Del Solar came to chile for world cup qualifiers with Perú national team. Perú used the Universidad Católica training camp by that date so they met there.
