PROVENANCE: The piece comes directly from a player  who was a teammate of Maradona on the Argentine national team, which serves as significant validation of its provenance. Time after was got by well known southamerican collector who is the current consignator.

NOTE 1: WORN BY DIEGO. Given its characteristics and provenance, it is possible that it was used by Diego during the period following the 1989 Copa América—including the international friendly against Italy on December 21, 1989, in Cagliari (0-0) and in which Maradona started as captain of the Argentine national team. On the other hand, icomparating the positioning of the number printed on the back, the placement is identical—not only to the match against Italy but also to another friendly match Diego played against Spain on October 12th, 1988.
