PROVENANCE: Jersey comes from known southamerican collector and was obtained throuhg his networks with players, in this case from foemr international dutch player Ernie Brandts  who swapped jerseys with midfielder Kim Chong-kon on June 17th, 1983 in Seoul.

NOTE 1 : HISTORIC MATCH. Jersey worn in a historic match, as it marked the first-ever meeting between North and South Korea. The match took place on December 19, 1978, during the 1978 Asian Games at the National Stadium in Bangkok. The game ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams being declared champions. A truly fascinating story.

NOTE 2: KOREAN ICON. Cho Kwang-rae  later became the head coach of the senior national team (between 2010 and 2011).
