Exclusive jerseys were swapped after known matches or gifted to him after more than 16 years career(1986-2002)  showcasing his talent on the european fields including Spain (Tenerife, Salamanca, Celta de Vigo, Valencia), Turkey (Besiktas), Belgium (KV Mechelen) and also stages in southamerica playing in Perú (Universitario) and Chile (Universidad Católica). At national team level "Chemo" was international player in 6 America Cups, 4 World Cup Qualifiers, playing 74 games and scoring 9 goals. Currently is Coach of Universidad César Vallejo in Perú.

NOTE 1: ICONIC PERUVIAN IDOL Jersey worn as a team captain by Jose "Chemo" del Solar vs Colombia on June 02nd, 1996 world cup qualifiers in Lima. Beautiful long sleeved version with felt front and back number with "no umbro corners logo" on numbers and a kind of square base on back where was stamped the number, wich was worn in qualifiers in very few matches. Collector's item.
