PROVENANCE: For first time ever the collection of former chilean & international goalkeeper Nelson Tapia is available to be auctioned worlwide with a provenance never seen before. All this exclusive auctioned pieces comes from his personal collection and were worn by the player himself on pitch, swapped after the match or gifted to him during his 18 years of professional career and then storaged  until today when they are up for auction for worldwide fans and museums ."Simpson" Tapia had 73 caps with national team including the 1998 World Cup ( 4 games ), 3 World Cup Qualifiers, 2004 Olympic Games ( Bronze Medal)  and 1999 & 2001 America Cup among many other titles at club level mainly with Universidad Católica (Playing 13 Libertadores Cup) and Cobreloa. Is considered one of the most iconic chilean goalkeepers in 90's.

NOTE 1: FIRST TIME EVER UP FOR AUCTION Jersey worn on pitch and swapped after the match by René Higuita to Nelson Tapia in February 23th 1995 for Libertadores Cup when "El Loco" reached the final in Libertadores being defeated by Gremio in the final. During this tournament in 1995 Higuita signed in  the semi-finals “the most spectacular performance by a goalkeeper in the history of the competition”, according to the book Historias insólitas de la Copa Libertadores.

 "El Loco" Higuita with his unique style of play, as a goalkeeper-player was chosen by the IFFHS as the eighth best South American goalkeeper of the 20th century in 2004. He also ranks fifth in the ranking of the highest scoring goalkeepers in the history of football (he held first place for several years) with 43 goals in official matches.  For  Atlético Nacional is absolute ídol playing 242 games and scoring 30 goals in 2 periods.His list of achievements includes titles in 2 Colombian leagues (1991 and 1994), 1 Copa Libertadores (1989) and 2 Inter-American Cups (1990 and 1997), all with Atlético Nacional.
