All this exclusive auctioned pieces comes from his personal collection and were worn by the player himself on pitch, swapped after the match or gifted to him during his 18 years of professional career and then storaged  until today when they are up for auction for worldwide fans and museums ."Simpson" Tapia had 73 caps with national team including the 1998 World Cup ( 4 games ), 3 World Cup Qualifiers, 2004 Olympic Games ( Bronze Medal)  and 1999 & 2001 America Cup among many other titles at club level mainly with Universidad Católica (Playing 13 Libertadores Cup) and Cobreloa. Is considered one of the most iconic chilean goalkeepers in 90's.

NOTE 1:  Jersey worn on pitch and swapped after the match by Ricardo Tavarelli to Nelson Tapia in February 27th 2002 for Libertadores Cup  in Group Stage. Amazing withness of the  road  to libertadores cup crown for the Paraguayan Giant reaching its third Libertadores cup this season beating Sao Caetano by penalty kicks.

Ricardo Tavarelli had an amazing performance during this specific match against Universidad Católica and during the tournament, being a key player and a super star for the paraguayan champion in the cup. Nelson Tapia was unused player on bench this match.
