During the current season Larrivey is the current 2024 top goalscorer of the chilean second division  playing for Magallanes and still battling to get to the first division in the final draw.

Jersey worn on pitch by "Gigi" and swapped after a known match by Larrivey (playing for Cagliari) on January 15th, 2012. Gigi is a legend for the football history, in 2004 he was included in the FIFA 100 list of Footballers. He has been named the best goalkeeper in the world on five occasions by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. He has also won various individual titles such as the Lev Yashin Award. He was voted "World's Best Goalkeeper of the Quarter Century" and "World's Best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century" by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. No more word for a legend.

NOTE 1: "Gigi" played 90' during the game meanwhile Joaquin Larrivey was on pitch until 71'. As related by player jersey was swapped after the match on pitch.
