NOTE 1: Jersey given as a gift  by Fabian to "Nano" Diaz after the match in the locker room due their friendship being temamates in Universidad Católica in 80's- That match "Nano" was Assistant coach of Manuel Pellegrini in LDU Quito. Nano says; "our players knew Fabian very well, and they approached him to swapp jersey after the match, but he didn't. But later just after the match, Fabián came quick from his locker room to mine and brought it to me as a gift. I still have a great relationship with Fabian. He was the big star in Mexico in those years."

NOTE 2: America reached semifinal in this Libertadores season, facing Boca Juniors in electrifying 2 clashes that were only decided by goal difference (1-4 / 3-1)
