PROVENANCE: Jersey comes from huge uruguayan international collector and was obtained in direct source from relatives of former uruguayan  player and coach Nelson Acosta. So comes from his personal collection.

NOTE 1: Jersey given as a gift by Rodrigo Barrera to Nelson Acosta after an unremembered match .This design ws worn during the second part of the qualifiers with different big size Reebok logo and team shield, also with different back number typography  for  friendly matches prior world cup in 1998 exactly like this jersey up for auction. So this auctioned jersey could be worn on pitch only vs Lituania April 29th or Uruguay on May, 24th, 1998. 

NOTE 2: Nelson Acosta was chilean coach during 1996-2000, reaching a R16 in 1998 World Cup, Bronze medal in Olympic Games and 4th place in 1999 America cup, being one of the most charismatic coach in the chilean history.
