PROVENANCE: Jersey comes from former international uruguayan player Eduardo Acevedo Cardozo, and comes from his personal collection. Jersey swapped after the game mentioned above. Cardozo played 41 game for National team, winning the 1983 America Cup, and being a national team member during the 1986 World Cup.

NOTE 1: ISSUED RARE VERSION. As related by player provenance , design worn by JORGE OLARTICOECHEA in matches prior to the 1986 World Cup in Mexico and  swapped  to him in the kitroom after the game played in Puebla on June 16th, for R16 in World Cup. Rare version issued and probably prepared for the argentina national team to be worn or gifted by players  during the tournament. Argentina played with different design and color during the game vs Uruguay, and this auctioned lot is  very different than the ones worn on field in games during the full world cup, 

 Since at the end of the match the Argentine utility staff did not allow their players to exchange the shirts worn in that match due to lack of stock, they exchanged them in the locker room and from there this shirt that was worn in the matches prior to the World Cup is delivered.

NOTE 2: ICONIC PHOTO. This jersey design is the same that Maradona and Passarella worn in México for iconic photo with mexican hats, so a real proof about that design was in the team garment.
