PROVENANCE: GERAT PROVENANCE.  The jersey was given directly by Ramón Díaz to a journalist friend from that time, who kept it for decades. Later, the shirt was acquired by the current consignator, a well-known match-worn collector in Argentina.

NOTE 1: Ramón Díaz played in the 1982 World Cup in Spain with the Argentine national team. He participated in 4 of the 5 matches the team played and scored one goal in the 3-1 defeat against Brazil in the second group stage. Details of his participation

NOTE 2: EXCLUSIVE WORLD CUP  DESIGN. This jersey style was worn only for world cup and got some special differences like "V" collar and no "Le Coq Sportif" text stamped below the brand logo on chest. Another key difference was the cloth cut both sides with some pyramid figure. See photo details. A great chance to own part of  the history of the current world champion!
