All selected jerseys up for auction are coming direct from "Ñol" Solano through his direct family under his permission. For first time ever the peruvian icon and Newcastle legend presents his sport journey with the sole objective of sharing his beautiful story with those fans who accompanied him for almost 21 years on the best pitches in the world, even being the special teammate of Diego Maradona in Boca Juniors 1997/98, with Diego pointing him out as a genius on field  and calling him the "little maestro".

Solano is considered was one of the best Peruvian footballers of recent times and is considered one of the best South American footballers during the second half of the 1990s and the first half of the 2000s. Notably, he holds the record for the Latin American footballer with the most assists in Premier League history and  being remembered for his magnificent free kicks He is also recognized as one of the best Latin American footballers in Premier League history with 15 seasons becoming a legend & icon for Newcastle and also  having seasons in Aston Villa, West Ham among other english teams.

Some records; he is one of the top 20 assist providers in Premier League history, the second Latin American player with the most appearances in the English League, and one of the top scorers and assist providers. For national team is the  sixth highest historical scorer (20 goals in 95 games played). ICON

NOTE 1: KING OF ST JAMES PARK. WORN IN LAST EVER MATCH PLAYED BY SOLANO IN NEWCASTLE AT HOME IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE. As declared by Nolberto Solano himself  jersey worn on pitch and kept and cared with love by Peruvian star on 05th May, 2007 vs Blackburn Rovers, wich was his really last home match at St James Park in premier league (Round 37) in season 06/07 before leave the club.

After that game Solano just played away match in round 38 with away kit, and then few pre-season matches in July-August (Carliste United, Celtic, Sampdoria, Juventus)  and finally the away matchday 1 vs Bolton for season 07/08 (wearing #14)  just before to be tranfered to West Ham United for thefull season. 

NOTE 2: FIRST MATCH WHERE THE 2007-2008 KIT IS USED. Please note that the design kit 2007/08 was worn by the team since this specific match vs Balckburn in  season 2006/07 wich makes this auctioned jersey a rare and exclusive piece of Nolberto Solano  and a collector's item.

NOTE 3: PATCH. Auctioned jersey with patch with a lion figure on its side wearing a red crown, worn until 06/07 just before the EPL patch changed for season 07/08  to the lion looking straight ahead with blue crown.
