PROVENANCE:  Jersey  was obtained through a contact within the AFA kit department and then got it by argentinian collector who is the current consignator.

NOTE 1.Exclusive design with PERFORATED FABRIC  along the jersey. Unique design worn in this pre-olympic southamerican tournament by Juan RomáN Riquelme mostly during group stage .That tournament featured "Airtex" technology (mesh fabric) and flocked lettering/numbering on the back; very few jerseys using this technology were produced, and they were made exclusively for the AFA kit staff. 

NOTE 2: This argentinian team was full of stars like Lionel Scaloni, Pablo Aymar etc nevertheless argentina got the final round but was defeated by Chile 1-0 in the final match, so did not  reached the Olympic Games in Australia.
